The healing power of

The mineral kingdom provides the foundation for life. Minerals contain the lowest vibration of all living things. Minerals make up the earth, the moon and the human body. Stones are alive and possess their own vibrational qualities. Different mineral deposits occur in different tectonic environments on planet earth. Generally a crystalline structure composed of a chemical compound or element occurring naturally. Even before the earth was formed primordial minerals existed in the solar system. Condensed directly from solar nebula. These can now be seen as meteorites and asteroids. An essential manifestation of light condensed into matter which reaches the highest expression in man. The human body is made up of minerals. The mineral kingdom provides a stable balance for planetary structure, forming the body of earth from which everything grows. Crystals harness their energy from the sun and other planetary forces. Solar energy and electromagnetic radiation from the sun and nuclear energy, produced by the earth as atoms decay through radiation.  Matter is spirit in motion. All matter that makes up the physical realm is part of the evolution of vibrations. Everything in existence is in a state of vibration. Man vibrates at the record of his existence. Our ultimate goal in life is for spiritual development. To achieve this we must receive guidance from within. Raising our vibrations helps us attune with the higher forces and and divine influences. Crystals can help us to rise our vibrations. Karmic actions are wrought in vibration. Every person has a stone to which he vibrates. Careful attention must be paid to the colour of stones. In order to understand how crystals can work one must also understand the power of colour.

Life is colour. It is impossible to imagine a world in only black and white. A grey ocean, a white sky and dull trees. Colour is the very pulse of existence. Human eye's can only detect a small portion of light. Each colour has its own vibration which interacts with our own. The great psychic Edgar Cayce explained that colours can influence our beings even more than sound. Through vibrations we sow our seeds and reap our destiny. When a child is born we paint their rooms in soft pastel colours instinctively. Colours are of the deepest significance to us throughout all phases of our life. They have more influence on us then we can possibly imagine. If we use them intelligently they can help us in many ways.

Colour rays touch planet earth night and day. Every atom responds to them, announcing its own quality to those who are able to decipher the language of colours. A red rose’s beautiful petals appear red to the eye. The rose petals absorb all colours except for red. The red waves of light bounce off the petals and that is the colour we see. When a crystal absorbs the full colour spectrum, it appears transparent as the air around us. The perfect blending of the seven colour rays in the bright sunlight gives us a white light. If the rays are split up by being passed through a glass prism they are at once visible as a variation of colours. In the same way a rainbow is produced by the minute prismatic effects of rain in the sky. All matter emits vibrations. A human being also radiates subtle emanations of everything of which he is composed. A person with extra sensitive sight is able to see the colours of light rays at a certain angle and speaks of them as the person's aura. Colours can give us energy or take it away. Colour can heal or induce sickness. Everyone has their favourite colours, as we all have colours we dislike. Though seemingly unaware we often seek the colours we need to create harmony. Some colours we would do well to avoid in our homes and wardrobe. The power of colour and crystals was utilized by all of the great ancient civilizations. There is no stone to which an ancient story is not attached. The royal families now, secret societies and religious leaders are very aware of the significance of colour and crystals. A powerful and divine wisdom, that of the crystal kingdom became lost to the general population over time. We are spiritually and elementally the same. This knowledge is today resurfacing.

The Father of Photobiology, Niels Ryberg Finsen of Denmark received the Nobel Science Prize in 1903 for successfully curing Tuberculosis with red light therapy. During the 1930's, Harry Riley Spitler, Founder of Syntonic Optometry in Fall River, MA used blue light therapy focused directly into the eyes to reduce inflammation and pain. In 1942, S.V. Krakov of Russia discovered that red light therapy stimulates the sympathetic nervous system, and that white and blue light therapy stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system.

Green light slows  plant growth because they are themselves green due to the pigment Chlorophyll. ... Blue light, encourages vegetative leaf growth. Red light, when combined with blue, allows plants to flower. Cool fluorescent light is extremely effective in the growth of indoor plants. A new study, led by researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Centre (BIDMC) found that exposing migraine sufferers to a narrow band of green light significantly reduces photophobia and can reduce headache severity. Researchers asked patients experiencing acute migraine attacks to report any change in headache when exposed to different intensities of blue, green, amber and red light. At high intensity of light - as in a well-lit office - nearly 80 per cent of patients reported intensification of headache with exposure to all colours but green. They found that green light even reduced pain by about 20 per cent.

Red light therapy/LLLT is used to help treat conditions such as cancer treatment side effects, wounds, wrinkles or fine lines, hair loss, arthritis symptoms, musculoskeletal disorders, and neurological damage. When blue light is used as a treatment for acne, it kills p. acnes, the acne-causing bacteria that can form within the sebaceous glands and cause break outs. In 1666 Sir Isaac Newton expounded the Principles of Gravitation and Theory of Colours. When the sunlight or the light waves, according to this theory, pass through a prism, they disperse according to their frequencies into seven bands and we know this grouping of waves, as colours, All the other colours are shades of these seven bands of colours. This band of rainbow colours resulting from the dispersal of light waves is named as spectrum. Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red, are the colours in a spectrum our eyes are more sensitive for yellow and green colours and interestingly the sunlight also boosts yellow and green more than other colours. Colours witnessed in a spectrum are only the visible part of the spectrum. The waves, which have wave lengths shorter than violet waves cannot be seen by our eyes e.g. ultra-violet rays, x-rays, gamma rays, etc. Similarly the waves of larger wavelengths than the red also cannot be seen e.g. infra-red and microwaves. There are people who can witness even the invisible waves of the Electromagnetic Spectrum.

White light is actually made of all of the colours of the rainbow because it contains all wavelengths, and it is described as polychromatic light. Light from a torch or the Sun is a good example of this. Light from a laser is monochromatic, which means it only produces one colour.

The colour rays touch planet earth night and day. Every atom responds to them, announcing its own quality to those who are able to decipher the language of colours. All matter emits vibrations. A human being also radiates subtle emanations of everything of which he is composed. A person with extra sensitive sight is able to see the colours of light rays at a certain angle and speaks of them as the person's aura

RED - Is stimulating and can lift energy levels.  Red has the lowest vibration of colours and can be warming. The colour of the root chakra. Vitality, appetite and desire.  Red should be avoided by those who have too much iron, or who are in any condition of heat or inflammation. Those with insufficient iron for example would do well to wear and be surrounded by red. Planet, Saturn. Linked to the endocrine system AT the ovaries and testes.

ORANGE – Orange denotes youth and a creative nature. The colour of the sacral chakra. It is also considered the colour of the brave. It should be avoided by extremely emotional types of people, who acquire balance through its complimentary colour, Blue. This beautiful colour is associated with the sun and has a warming and energizing effect. Planet, Neptune. Linked to the endocrine system AT the pancreas.

YELLOW - the third colour of the spectrum. This colour belongs to the planet Mars. Yellow is the colour associated with the 3rd chakra, the solar plexus. Buddha always dressed his priests in Yellow. This colour has stood for wisdom and intellect throughout the ages. Yellow lamps or glass windows stimulate the nerves of the brain and the body. They should not be used by highly nervous subjects. Yellow predominates in all herbs which are purgatives or nerve-stimulants, such as senna, sulphur, fig juice, tartar, castor oil. Linked to the endocrine system AT the adrenals.

GREEN - the fourth colour which stands in the centre of the scale of the seven colours. It is the meeting ground between the thermal or heating and expanding colours of red, orange and yellow and the electrical contracting colours of blue, indigo and violet. It is the colour associated with the 4th chakra, the heart chakra. Green gives stability, endurance and quietude. We are allowed much of it to look at in nature and to partake of as nourishment. Its action is to cool the blood and animate the nerves. It belongs to the planet Venus that of love. People with the luminous green in their aura are the harmonizers and pacifiers of the world often healers. They stand for social stability. If the green is dark and crude it tells that its owner is so concerned with the affairs of others they have become "Green with envy." Linked to the endocrine system AT the thymus.

BLUE – It is rare for the wearer of blue to become angry with anything. Blue is tolerance and self control. Emotional calm and harmony. Blue belongs to Uranus. Blue is the colour that corresponds to the 5th chakra, the throat chakra. Linked to the endocrine system at the thyroid and mixed with green, creating turquoise AT the para thyroid.

INDIGO-  is the sixth colour of the scale. It is, like green, a meeting-ground for all the colours. Its planet is said to be Mercury. It is the colour associated with the 6th chakra that is the third eye. In the aura it shows dignity and high aspirations. The musical note is A. Linked to the endocrine system through the pineal.

VIOLET - is the seventh and last colour of the spectrum. It represents the seventh and highest quality a person attains a noble spiritual aspiration. Therefore it has always been connected to the priestly ceremonies and magical realms. Violet is the colour associated with the 7th chakra that of the crown. It's musical note is B, in which key much sacred music is written. Its planet is Jupiter. In its medical action it approaches the realm of ultraviolet. It cools the nerves, is magnetic and antiseptic. Purple and violet speak of honour, spirituality and self-esteem. Often soothing to pregnant women to aid feeling of uncertainty and insecurity. Linked to the endocrine system through the holy trinity of crystal palace which is a combination of balanced function in the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus.

BLACK is not a colour though black crystals can harness great power and hold eternal truths. Black can be an impenetrable wall. It absorbs all colours. Black is often worn as a shield of protection. Black stops one from absorbing the emotions or opinions of others. Often worn in mourning or in puberty for such reasons. GREY is in a realm where neither light nor dark prevails. Grey is aloof and favoured by those who are non committal. BROWN is home spun and persons who favour are down to earth. WHITE absorbs and includes all colour.  Pure WHITE LIGHT is healing.
